This new firmware hides that feature behind VPC but like the Legend 2, that’s how you do it. And really, VPC is awesome and you will likely set a curve once you start using it. It really is like TC mode with a kanthal mesh which is a metal that doesn’t TC.
Another bonus to VPC. If you are one of the 99% of users who never needs a 5+ second vape, VPC shuts off after 5 instead of 10 seconds in power mode. So accidental dry fires are not a big deal if they ever happen.
Suddenly the lock comes in handy as a substitute for powering down when pocketing, and VPC mode does the rest.
The only disadvantage is I have to charge the m100 at least a couple of times a day... would it make sense to upgrade to a Legend 2 ? Do i really need those 200W or is it like driving a Ferrari in city traffic? The idea of dual 18650 battery is actually quite appealing...
